But wait - since when does Adobe email customers?
Especially since I don't bother to mess my system with Adobe Acrobat?
Something fishy here...

Hopefully no one downloads anything from a domain like that - claiming to be Adobe, yet being very fishy, on a newly registered domain.

I got two of these. One pointed to http://www.adobe-pdf-upgrades.info the other to
http://www.adobe-pdf-upgrades.com (I think this is what yours had).

I just got one as well.
The scarry part...they used my real name.
I've backtracked and the only time I've linked my name to an email is with government sites (secure?) and paypal

Dear Anna,
Thank you for posting such useful information and making it freely available online.
I have one small request though - could you please remove my name from the whois domain registration details? When my credit card details were stolen, the scammers used my stolen details and name to register the domain. Please keep the rest in-tact as it is great information.
Kind regards,
Shawn

I can deal with this ones. I smell them a mile away, the annoying ones are those that constantly send you the same crap every day. At least, if you see I'm not falling for your scam, have the decency to stop spamming me. But no, they have to send you one EVERYDAY ...
